Our annual Vestry meeting is coming up in early February. Looks like February 1, 2015. As you will all be aware, this is when we discuss our annual business, celebrate our past experiences and decide who will carry on in the various committees, etc. to make decisions and planning our business/social events for the next year.
We have many representatives who have been on the Parish council for long periods of time, some of whom are in need of a much deserved rest from being the leads.
The different positions that may be available include: Stewardship (PWRFD), Outreach, Events, Communications, Property, Treasurer, Vestry Clerk/Council secretary, 2 Synod delegates and 2 auditors.
Some who have held these positions in the past have indicated a willingness to stay on and others have indicated a willingness to move on. We would ask each of you to consider if and where you may fit in to the needs of the Parish and in particular, consider throwing your name in the ring so to speak for a position. Please contact Richard Adams or Randy Pepper should you be interested or have any questions about a particular position. Nominations will be accepted the day of the Vestry meeting and we would look forward to having elections.
