The music program at Trinity has always been a very important aspect of worship. When our Allen organ which was installed in 1977 started to produce noises of it’s own, it was decided to look into replacement of the instrument.
We located and purchased a used, refurbished Allen ADC-6300 organ roughly 20 years younger which was in a church in Florida. The church there had decided on a different direction for their music program which didn’t require the organ. Our music director, Scott Rose, had much experience in servicing, installing and voicing electronic instruments and would install the new organ. Click here for a stoplist of the new instrument.
Trinity church purchased this instrument through EBay and it was shipped up. The primary installation was completed in time for Advent services. Many thanks to the volunteers who helped muscle the instrument to Trinity from the truck and a special thanks to Abe Kamerman for his expertise in running and hiding wires, setting up scaffold, etc., etc.,
We had a wonderful dedication recital on May 15, 2013 performed by Angus Sinclair.
Mr. Sinclair graciously permitted me to record the recital and our members may listen by following this link. You will need your username and password to gain access. User name and password will be e-mailed to you or you may e-mail Scott Rose for access.
